Meet the Student Success Center (SSC) Academic Advising Team
All students at Providence College have a dedicated academic advisor from their major department(s) or program(s). The professional academic advisors in the Student Success Center (SSC) provide an additional layer of holistic academic advising support focusing on educational planning, monitoring, and programming. Students can elect drop-in or scheduled advising appointments with SSC academic advising team members. Additionally, staff members provide academic monitoring for select majors focusing on degree progress and academic success.
The professional advising staff offers a wide range of services and programs to meet the needs of all PC students, including:
• Just-in-time, drop-in advising
• Core curriculum navigation
• Academic advising technology/resource
• Transfer student support
• First-year student support
• Midterm grade consultation
• Advisement related to course withdrawals, pass/fail elections, double major/minor opportunities, transfer coursework outside of Providence College (summer/winter courses), academic scholarship reviews, and more.
